When sightseeing in Delhi, a visit to Lotus Temple is necessarily suggested. Lotus Temple in Delhi is one of 8 Houses of Worship, present in every continent except Antarctica. With its mesmerizing architecture, the temple definitely has a capacity to spellbound you. The holy building has 9 doors that can welcome 2500 visitors at the same time. Also, the temple is surrounded by nine ponds as well which are visible after climbing the stairs at the base.

Known as Bahai Temple, this temple belongs to Bahai faith and symbolizes four religions - Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam. Worshippers of all religions are welcomed here.

A point to note is that while Lotus Temple is a great place for kids to learn about the equality of the religions, kids under the age of 12 years are not allowed inside the prayer hall.
